YOUR MOVE is one of the largest estate agency companies in the UK with c.290 offices in the UK of which over 90 are franchised with many others in the pipeline.

Formally know as General Accident Property Services the company re-branded in 1999 as was the subject of a Management Buyout from Norwich Union in 2004 when the parent company Lending Solutions was formed. Lending Solutions was renamed in November 2006 to LSL Property Services and floated on the UK Stock Market with a value of £220 million. The group also includes one of the UK's largest Chartered Surveyors e.surv.

YOUR MOVE are now looking to expand their network further by opening brand new 'cold start' franchised branches in towns where they are currently not represented.

YOUR MOVE opened its first franchise branch in March 2003 and due to their market leading proposition have opened over 90 branches since. This makes them arguably the fastest growing estate agency franchise in the UK.

The franchise is essential 3 franchises in 1 as it offers ESTATE AGENCY, RESIDENTIAL LETTINGS AND FINANCIAL SERVICES

The total capital investment required to launch a YOUR MOVE franchise does vary dependant on a wide variety of local and personal factors such as size/location of premises, staffing levels, marketing plan etc but the average is somewhere between £80K - £100K.

We have preferential financing available (subject to status) from several high street banks usually up to about 70% of the total capital investment required and therefore you will need a minimum of £30K of your own money to invest in your new business.

You may also be interested to learn about the Government Department of Trade & Industry's (DTI) small firms loans guarantee scheme which is an option for those who do not wish to put up their family home as security against a business loan. Investment and Fees
  • YOUR MOVE's franchise fee is £15,000 plus VAT per branch payable upon signature of the franchise agreement which is usually when you commence trading
  • The monthly management fee is 8% based on gross turnover as defined in the Franchise Agreement and is payable monthly.
  • IT is charged at cost and is based on the individual requirements of each franchisee.
