Description
Since 1920, when Snap-on Incorporated, our parent company, first developed the interchangeable socket wrench, the name Snap-on has been recognised as the leader in providing the finest quality tools and equipment for the professional technician.

Long recognised for its commitment to Quality, Innovation and Service, Snap-on offers a wide range of capabilities and solutions for professional tool users.

At the same time, Snap-on pioneered the idea of direct sales and service to motor vehicle technicians, right at their place of business, while providing credit programmes so they could purchase the tools that would build their careers. We still do that today. As the market leader in tool and equipment solutions, Snap-on Tools provides you with an opportunity to invest in a financially strong company with an outstanding reputation for quality, service and innovation.

Many franchise companies make their money selling franchises - through the initial franchise fee, the training fee, a monthly royalty fee, the advertising fee and other fees.

Snap-on is different. We concentrate on selling high-quality tools and equipment to professional mechanics through a network of professional Dealers. That has always been our strength and that is how we run our business today.

Our focus at Snap-on is to make our Dealers successful on an ongoing basis because unlike other franchisors, we do not charge a franchise fee. Our business is not selling franchises; it's the same as your business - selling high quality tools and equipment!

At Snap-on, we view training as an ongoing process, not a single event. We provide two weeks' training prior to starting on your territory, your Field Manager (usually an ex-Franchisee) will spend a great deal of time with you during your first six weeks on the road, then there are regular training sessions and monthly meetings thereafter.

We look for integrity and professionalism and a contributive, co-operative spirit.

An ideal Snap-on Dealer will possess a willingness to devote their full time and attention to making their Dealership a success, along with an ability to deal effectively with customers, suppliers, and the community.

A successful Snap-on franchise requires hard work, planning and the development of personal relationships with customers. As a Snap-on Dealer, you will enjoy a professional and respected position in the tool industry with excellent income potential.

You will need the communication skills to talk to people at all levels, the ability to sell on a one-to-one basis and the drive, enthusiasm and sheer determination to be successful.

If you believe you have the qualities to make a success of your own business, we would like to hear from you.
