MagiKats is an educational system that is used to run out of school Maths and English programmes for children of all ages.

It combines a databank of worksheets, for use at home to develop core skills, with curriculum sets which are used in workshops to help children with school work appropriate for their age. At all stages, children are encouraged to think about what they are doing, and also to develop study skills that can be applied across the curriculum.

MagiKats was put together by a team of UK educators who saw that it was not sufficient to give practice on just core skills or just current school work when helping students. They recognised that by combining the two elements, however, they were able to take a universal approach whilst still helping individuals.

Having had years of experience in teaching, private tuition and running out of school clubs, the combination of all their experience came together for the first time and MagiKats was launched.

MagiKats Principals (franchisees) are special people. They combine a genuine concern and interest in children's education, in their own communities, with the ability to build and manage their own business. They need good subject skills of their own and to be prepared to build a strong team of staff to support them. They need to be able to use a computer.

Franchisees are helped to set up, and then to run, their own successful MagiKats Tuition Centre. The software is provided, with installation support and full training. Help and support on how to start and run a successful business is provided at every stage. Software and worksheet updates are supplied regularly as part of the ongoing business arrangement, along with marketing materials and advice.
